F Polly SMITH
Birth: __ ___ 1824 _______________, _______________, _______________, OH.
Marriage: 5 May 1844 Jacob BROCK (b. circa 17 Oct 1825, d. 17 Oct 1886); _______________, _______________, Delaware Co.,( Marriage Records of Delaware, p.114.)
Name-Marr: BROCK
Note: __ ___ ____ _______________, _______________, _______________, _______________; COMMENT: In the 1860 census, Center township, Delaware County, Indiana, a Soloman Smith, age 26, born Ohio, is living with Polly and her husband Jacob Brock. Delaware county Death records, book K, p.22 show that Solomon R. Smith, age 71, of Union township, Delaware County IN, died 30 April 1903 by hanging himself. His father is listed as .... Smith, b. PA, and his mother is .... Kants/Knuts/Kunts, b. PA. He is buried in Union Cemetery, Delaware Co., IN. This could be the same Solomon Smith, even though he age is off by 2 years. I feel that this very possibly is Polly's brother, which gives me a research clue in Pennsylvania. **map**.
